Nestled in the heart of Whidbey Island, Freeland Hall offers a picturesque location for your wedding ceremony and reception. Our venue boasts stunning views of Holmes Harbor, lush gardens, and expansive lawns on nearly 3 acres of private waterfront property.

Venue Highlights:

  • Main Hall: Comfortably accommodates up to 244 guests for sit-down or buffet-style receptions. The historic main hall includes four guest restrooms and a large private dressing room with a restroom in the Bridal Suite downstairs.
  • Main Floor: The 2400 sq ft main floor, featuring a 340 sq ft stage, provides ample space for sit-down dinners, informal receptions, dancing, live bands, and indoor ceremonies in case of inclement weather.
  • Bridal Suite: Our impressive 800 sq ft downstairs Bridal Suite includes three entrances (two outdoor, one indoor). This spacious area accommodates over 30 guests, offering a private bathroom, a cozy sitting area with a propane rock wall fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchenette, and two high-top tables for makeup and preparations. The suite features French doors leading to the lower deck and the wedding arch on the terrace, perfect for outdoor ceremonies and scenic photo opportunities.
  • Wi-Fi: Enjoy the “Big Gig,” our ultra-fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi, included to enhance your experience and ease event planning.

Weddings & Celebrations at the Hall

$ 1000 per Day
  • Our standard Off-Season Wedding rate is $1,000 per day. Standard In-Season rates for events during the months of April through September are $1500 per day. Wedding Events and Celebrations cannot be billed at half day or hourly rates. Reduced rates for Weekday and Multi day rentals can be negotiated on a case by case basis.

With Kitchen Access

  • Kitchen Facilities For an additional $250 per day, you can ensure your caterer has ample space to prepare and plate your food, or save on catering costs by using our fully equipped industrial kitchen. Spanning 480 sq ft, our restaurant-style kitchen features: Cooking Appliances: Two gas ovens and eight gas stovetop burners. Microwave: Large capacity for quick and efficient heating. Dish Station: Industrial dishwashing station with sanitizer and three-compartment sink, plus waiter dummy door access from the main hall. Refrigeration: Brand new industrial refrigerator and a mini ice freezer. Dining Essentials: White plate settings for up to 175 guests, including flatware and stemware. Beverage Service:Coffee makers tea pots and water service incl. service for 175 coffee mugs creamers etc. Serving Equipment: A variety of serving platters and utensils.

  • Celebration of Life / Memorials cannot be billed at a 1/2 day rate or hourly. (Non-Member Rate is $750)

W/Kitchen Access

  • For memorial services and gatherings, adding the kitchen to your Freeland Hall rental provides a convenient space for preparing and serving food creating a comforting atmosphere during a time of remembrance and reflection.

Community Room Rental

$30 per Hour (3 hour minimum )
  • The conference room can be rented any day of the week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Pending availability.

Non-Profit Rental of Community Room

$25 per Hour (3 hour minimum)
  • Our downstairs community room is the perfect place for your non-profit (501c3) board meeting or small gathering.

Business Meetings or Social Gatherings in Community Room

The conference room downstairs at Freeland Hall is equipped with a full professional copy machine, a piano, and a cozy fireplace, making it ideal for various professional and intimate gatherings.
Seating about 25 people, this space offers a gorgeous view of the property, enhancing the ambiance of any meeting or event. The room's doors open up to the park, providing easy access to the outdoors, and it includes its own private bathroom separate from the main hall, ensuring convenience and privacy for all attendees. Meet in our Community Room for a business meeting or a social gathering for under 30 people, non-catered services, non-event, private meeting only.

Non-Profit Events At Freeland Hall

Nonprofits with a 501(c)3 status are eligible to rent Freeland Hall at a special discounted rate based on the number of guests attending the event. The rates listed apply to renting the Hall with stage access only; adding the kitchen is available for an additional $250 per day. A 50% discount on the standard DAILY rates published on this page can be provided to nonprofit organizations upon submission of a valid 501(c)3 certificate. Discount does NOT apply to HOURLY rates.
