Your Wedding Celebration at Freeland Hall !

A naturally beautiful and versatile location for your wedding ceremony and reception. Freeland Hall sits at the heart of Whidbey Island, offering picturesque views of the surrounding landscapes, including Holmes Harbor, lush gardens, and open lawns.

Our historic main hall comfortably hosts approximately 240 people for sit-down or buffet reception dinners with 3 bathrooms. The main floor provides space for sit-down dinners, informal receptions, dancing, and indoor ceremonies in case of inclement weather. The Community Room is a spacious dressing area for the bride and her party during the day and includes a private bathroom and fireplace. The lawn with a wedding arch for your ceremony adds to the beauty of your event, providing scenic spots for photos and gatherings. We have the “Big Gig”, an ultra-fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi, which is included to maximize your experience and ease your event planning.

Celebrations at the Hall

$ 1000 per Day
  • Our standard wedding rental rate is $1,000 per day in the off season. Weddings and Celebrations cannot be billed at half-day or hourly rates. Rate changes with season from $1000 per day in the off season to $1500 in season. Multi day rates can be negotiated on a case by case basis.

With Kitchen Access

$ 250 add'l per Day
  • If the kitchen is needed solely for caterer staging rather than cooking, the fee is reduced to $125 for the day. This option does not include the use of our stemware, flatware, and plates. Please note that this requires listing your caterer of choice along with their name and contact number for our records.

Celebration of Life

$ 500
  • Our standard wedding rental rate is $1,000 per day in the off season. Weddings and Celebrations cannot be billed at half-day or hourly rates. Rate changes with season from $1000 per day in the off season to $1500 in season

W/Kitchen Access

$ 125 per event
  • For memorial services and gatherings, adding the kitchen to your Freeland Hall rental provides a convenient space for preparing and serving food creating a comforting atmosphere during a time of remembrance and reflection.

Our hall offers versatile amenities, including a fully-equipped kitchen, audio-visual equipment, and a family room downstairs, making it suitable for a variety of ceremonies and gatherings.

  • Host your sales event on the weekend for maximum exposure. Hourly rates not available on weekend

Community Room Rental

$50 per Hour (two hour minimum )
  • The conference room can be rented any day of the week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Pending availability.

Non-Profit Rental of Community Room

$30 per Hour (three hour minimum)
  • Our downstairs community room is the perfect place for your non-profit board meeting or small gathering.

Business Meetings or Social Gatherings in Community Room

The conference room downstairs at Freeland Hall is equipped with a full professional copy machine, a piano, and a cozy fireplace, making it ideal for various professional and intimate gatherings.
Seating about 25 people, this space offers a gorgeous view of the property, enhancing the ambiance of any meeting or event. The room's doors open up to the park, providing easy access to the outdoors, and it includes its own private bathroom separate from the main hall, ensuring convenience and privacy for all attendees. Meet in our Community Room for a business meeting or a social gathering for under 30 people, non-catered services, non-event, private meeting only.

Non-Profit Events At Freeland Hall

Nonprofits with a 501(c)3 status are eligible to rent Freeland Hall at a special discounted rate based on the number of guests attending the event. The rates listed apply to renting the Hall with stage access only; adding the kitchen is available for an additional $250 per day. A 50% discount on the standard DAILY rates published on this page can be provided to nonprofit organizations upon submission of a valid 501(c)3 certificate. Discount does NOT apply to HOURLY rates.
