HHAC was founded 1902 and carrying on events at Freeland Hall since 1915. These guiding principles are based on the historical traditions of the women of Freeland who united the feuding socialists and capitalists into a civil society. These principles are still applicable today:

1. Learn to Think for Yourself- please act with common sense while at the Hall.

2. Don’t bring political or religious arguments to the Hall

3. No alcohol consumption by minors

4. Don’t get intoxicated

5. Be civil with your neighbors

6. Pitch in as many hands lighten the load

7. Follow the same behavior as you would in your best friend’s family room

8. Members who Violate these principles will be asked to leave the Hall and their membership revoked.
